We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. Today I am entering my 40th year of walking with God in the Spirit. The Lord turned my life around that August evening in the Ramada Inn and I will praise Him for ever and ever. Along in this journey in 1998 the Lord spoke to me to chronicle this new adventure as we were flying into Israel. You are reading this because of His anointing on me these past years to do what He told me to do and I give Him all the glory. I pray that you will be blessed today as I share a little about the bridge tragedy in Minnesota. This article will be a little longer than normal, so please hang in there with me.

One of the things the Lord did with me in 1968 was to motivate me to spend hours each week walking the Baylor University campus and pray for a moving of His Spirit. Baylor is located on I-35 and along with praying for Baylor the Lord had me pray for all of the surrounding property located along the I-35 corridor.

In 1976 the Lord directed us a large piece of property across from The Holiday Inn that had four buildings. We opened a large retail shop right on I-35 along with our offices and manufacturing facilities. We also had a coffee house ministry where a lot of Baylor students came and received a touch from God. Before we began to occupy this property a woman called me and told me that God had instructed her to have me read Isaiah 35 and that this chapter would become a living Word to me.

When I opened my Bible to Isaiah 35 the Holy Spirit showed me that this chapter was tied to I-35. Isn't God amazing? Just think about the fact that our God had Isaiah pen this chapter for us for such a time as now. Glory! Let me encourage you to read this complete chapter of only 10 verses. I am going to write out the last three verses today for us to grasp.

"A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray. No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; it shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there, and the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorry and sighing shall flee away." (Isaiah 35:8-10)

At the present time we have a son that has a business on I-35 and another son looking at opening a business on I-35. Our golf facility was located on I-35 right next to Baylor University. I-35 is the major interstate that connects the U.S. to Canada and Mexico. It is in the center of this nation and I believe the Lord is speaking loud and clear about what just happened in Minnesota.

This bridge was built 40 years ago. In 2006 we had the first Muslim sworn into Congress. Keith Ellison is from Minnesota and not only this but the bridge that collapsed is in his district. This area is called the WEST BANK locally. This area is now about 75% Muslim.

1967- On the same date 8-1-67 Israel officially claimed the WEST BANK and annexed East Jerusalem.

Keith Ellison makes an announcement that he will be traveling to Israel this mid August taking 19 US democratic congressmen with him. He will be meeting with Ehud Olmert and Palestinian leader Abbas. The discussion is about Israel giving back the WEST BANK and East Jerusalem. When was this announcement made? 5:30 pm on Wednesday the day the bridge collapsed. It was posted on the internet by Associated Press.

It is pretty clear to me that this man and what happened in his district is connected with all of us and what is happening in Israel. I know in my spirit that our God is going to have the final word in all of this. Jesus tells us that we are to WATCH and PRAY!

"Watch out that no one deceives you….When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains…." (Mark 13:4-5, 7-8)

The Lord is speaking to us in all of this. The main thing I am hearing is that we must make sure our hearts are securely hooked with Israel. I pray that I-35 will truly be a highway of Holiness. Glory!
